Jamieson and Associates (J&A) specializes in collaborative, creative, design, consultation and specification of audiovisual communication spaces and systems for a broad spectrum of needs and requirements. J&A has over 24 successful years of direct involvement in the shaping of media production, meeting, conference and learning facilities design for major corporations and educational organizations, as well as almost two decades of prior media production and presentation experience. Because of this experience, J&A is uniquely qualified and has provided pioneering as well as current state-of-the-art system and facility design consultation and design services to many progressive and dynamic organizations. Some of these include: ConAgra, Inc., Cray Research, IBM Corporation, Andersen Corporation, Lutheran Brotherhood, NSP, Mayo Clinic, Norwest Bank, American Express Financial Services, U S WEST, United HeathCare Corporation, Macalester College, University of St. Thomas, as well as the University of Minnesota.
J&A is a specialized facility design and new media usage consultation firm. During projects they address many issues with their clients such as: facility requirements, operation strategies, organizational goals and objectives, budget issues, existing and emerging new communication media, opportunities for successful communications media implementation and functional requirements.
Communications technologies (media) implementation and management issues are an important portion of J&A's work, whether for specific facility design, equipment system selection and specification or, more directly, for operation strategies and structure. J&A's work has included audio and video teleconference rooms, presentation theaters, boardrooms, conference centers, meeting rooms and education and training centers/facilities designed to be at the leading edge of technology.
